What are orthopedic shoes?
Orthopedic shoes are individually customized and modified in accordance with the customer’s foot pathologies, in order to provide a solution to various orthopedic projects. All relief and adjustment related aspects are taken into account and measured with maximum precision.
There are two types of orthopedic shoes available:
1. Custom-made shoes – produced according to individual plaster cast.
Each shoe is produced separately for each foot. The process includes collecting personal data based on precise measurements, cast and polymeric glove that serves for creating a 3D outline of each foot, fixing foot angle, designing and producing the shoe with a structure aimed to compensate for deformations, help handle various diseases, imbalance, difficulties and pain as a result of incorrect walking. Such shoe structure will be combined with the custom-made orthotic that serves as the base of the shoe.
The customer can choose the color of the shoes and their design (as long as the foot can benefit from it). The shoe is produced from skin and materials of the highest quality, combined with the most advanced data collection technology. Custom-made shoes are produced in compliance with the strictest quality control. After the shoe is produced, the customer is invited for adjustment. Afterwards, the customer returns for repeated examination of the shoes’ influence and for keeping their proper balance.
2. Upgraded comfort shoes – shoes that are modified and improved to perfectly fit the customer’s foot.
Each foot is unique. Often, when we buy shoes, we compromise the comfort of one foot for the benefit of the other. Since there are differences between both feet, often it becomes necessary to modify the shoe so it will fit the foot perfectly. The process is completed by adding orthotics, which are also custom-made.
